Hearst Magazines installs ES and TWIST for Print and E-Media Workflow
“Our business is growing, especially in the tablet space, and we needed workflow software that could accommodate both print and electronic production,” said Laura C. Reid, Hearst Magazines vice president of production. “TWIST allows us to automate everything, including our outreach to premedia outlets, saving time and making the process frictionless and straightforward.”
ES streamlines media workflow for replica online editions, handling files and assembling them automatically, conducting all the file refining and production for individual e- reader platforms.
THEMAGAZINE 16 – Now in print, PDF, HTML5 and EPUB format
THEMAGAZINE16One must be a bit obsessed, or at least passionate, about publishing a print magazine to go through the hassle of putting it together – particularly when so many others have elected to publish an online version as an alternative. Yet, we did it again.

Then we take you south to Saõ Paulo, Brazil where top-notch creatives meet top notch IT at P+E. And we finish our travels in Europe, looking at packaging production at Gutenberg Networks and August Faller KG and we visit the Burda Druck factory in Germany.
