Key Responsibilities

• Missions and Purpose of the Role

  • Manage accounting processes for multiple entities across different countries, requiring an understanding of diverse financial regulations and compliance standards.

  • Accounting

    • Oversee accounts payable and accounts receivable functions.

    • Process and monitor expense reports and reimbursements.

    • Manage fixed assets and depreciation schedules.

    • Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement solutions into our tech stack (SAP Business ByDesign, HubSpot, etc.)

    • Ensure compliance with local accounting standards and regulations, particularly for entities in countries with different legal frameworks.

  • Monthly Closing and Reporting

    • Reconcile and analyse account balances to ensure completeness and accuracy.

    • Identify and resolve discrepancies and variances in financial data.

    • Prepare monthly financial reports for management and stakeholders.

    • Assist in the consolidation of international group entities into comprehensive reports.

    • Provide insights and analysis on financial performance and variances.

    • Prepare financial reports in accordance with local regulations and group-wide consolidation standards, ensuring adherence to multi-jurisdictional compliance requirements.

  • Other Financial Projects

    • Assist in the preparation of budgets and financial forecasts.

    • Support external audits by preparing necessary documentation.

    • Generate ad hoc financial reports and analyses as requested by management.

    • Provide expertise on legal accounting requirements for companies over 100 employees

• Key Stakeholders and Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Bring his/her analytical capabilities and problem solving skills in strategic cross-department projects and initiatives.

• Impact of the Role

  • Play a critical role in handling the accounting processes, ensuring accurate and timely monthly closings, and preparing comprehensive financial reports.

Candidate Profile

• Education and Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.

  • 5 to 12 years’ experience in accounting or finance.

• Technical Skills

  • Strong knowledge of legal and accounting regulations in a multi-entity, multi-jurisdictional context.

  • Familiarity with German accounting, especially for companies with more than 100 employees or 10 million euros in turnover.

  • Fluency in English and German, other languages would be appreciated.

  • Proficiency with MS Office Suite, particularly Excel.

Job Details

• Location: Our HQ in Kehl, Bade-Wurtemberg, Germany.

• Work Hours: Full-time, with flexible hours.

• Remote Work Policy: On-site, remote by exception.

• Reporting Line: Reports to the CFO.

• Contract Type: Permanent.

• Concevoir, développer et gérer des modules logiciels front-end et back-end.

• Collecter et affiner les spécifications et exigences en fonction des besoins techniques.

• Rédiger un code bien conçu, testable et efficace.

• Intégrer les composants logiciels pour créer un système logiciel entièrement fonctionnel.

• Documenter et maintenir les fonctionnalités du logiciel.

Profil du candidat

• Formation et expérience

  • Diplôme de niveau Bac+3 ou Bac+5 en informatique.

  • Poste ouvert aux jeunes diplômés ou profils avec une première expérience.

  • Ouvert aux profils en reconversion si issus d'un cursus scientifique initial.

• Compétences techniques

  • Excellentes compétences en développement logiciel.

  • Bonne maîtrise des technologies Java et React.

  • Expérience en programmation sous environnement Unix.

• Qualités personnelles et partage des valeurs

  • Forte aptitude à résoudre les problèmes (troubleshooting).

  • Capacité d’apprentissage rapide et de maîtrise de nouvelles technologies.

  • Volonté de s’intégrer et contribuer à un environnement aligné sur les valeurs et la culture de l’entreprise.

  • Maîtrise de la langue française obligatoire ; la connaissance d’autres langues est un atout.
