Group Financial Accountant (M/W/D) - Kehl, Germany

Key Responsibilities

  • Missions and Purpose of the Role

    • Manage accounting processes for multiple entities across different countries, requiring an understanding of diverse financial regulations and compliance standards.

    • Accounting

      • Oversee accounts payable and accounts receivable functions.

      • Process and monitor expense reports and reimbursements.

      • Manage fixed assets and depreciation schedules.

      • Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement solutions into our tech stack (SAP Business ByDesign, HubSpot, etc.)

      • Ensure compliance with local accounting standards and regulations, particularly for entities in countries with different legal frameworks.

    • Monthly Closing and Reporting

      • Reconcile and analyse account balances to ensure completeness and accuracy.

      • Identify and resolve discrepancies and variances in financial data.

      • Prepare monthly financial reports for management and stakeholders.

      • Assist in the consolidation of international group entities into comprehensive reports.

      • Provide insights and analysis on financial performance and variances.

      • Prepare financial reports in accordance with local regulations and group-wide consolidation standards, ensuring adherence to multi-jurisdictional compliance requirements.

Corporate Legal and Compliance Advisor (M/W/D) - Kehl, Germany

Key Responsibilities

Legal Advisory and Corporate Governance

  • Provide strategic legal support and guidance on a broad spectrum of topics, including group structuring, corporate governance, contractual agreements, internal policies, and regulatory requirements.

  • Review and negotiate legal documents, including license agreements, partnership and service provider contracts, work contracts, and corporate documentation.

  • Organize board and shareholders’ meetings as well as all corporate documentation and statutory filings.

Compliance Oversight and Risk Management

  • Develop, implement, and monitor compliance policies and procedures to ensure adherence to German regulations (e.g., GDPR, Data Protection, etc.).

  • Actively monitor and analyze changes in German and EU regulations affecting the company, and provide actionable advice to the management team on their implications for the business.

  • Identify, assess, and mitigate legal and compliance risks across the organization.
