Yes, you can migrate your data and users, but you will need us to assist you with this. I recommend starting from scratch and testing your scenarios before spending time migrating.
Your expertise will translate in some way. The general concepts are the same, but a lot of it has been rebuilt, so some re-education will be necessary.
